My job is so rewarding – it’s not like you go into factory work, you punch the time clock, you know the same [each day]. It’s not that. It’s rewarding. It’s different every day. There are always people joining, people leaving, people getting the cure [Hep C treatment], people going to peer training. I find that the more I do, the more I want to do.
I just took my first vacation after three years – I kind of got made to take it. It’s like there’s always something to do, there’s always something to learn, so taking time off wasn’t in my playbook.
