We can’t catch up to the deaths that are happening right now with the overdose epidemic. It’s not slowing down anytime soon. We don’t have those structures in place right now by our government. So what can we do to give people that breathing room? And that would be to build in support systems within employments and organizations so that people have somewhere to go. Because the losses are going to continue coming and you need your workers to be healthy and you need them to be well, because they’re out there supporting the entire community. And we don’t get a break from that. That’s what we do, and that’s what a lot of us love to do because we belong to those communities. So we’re not going to take time off so that we can grieve, because we don’t want to sit down. We want to keep fighting.
